\u201cProcessing\u201d means any operation or series of operations relating to personal data, carried out with or without the aid of automated procedures. The term is broad and encompasses virtually every way data is handled.<\/p>\n

\u201cPseudonymization\u201d means the processing of personal data in such a way that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that this additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures that ensure that the personal data not be assigned to an identified or identifiable natural person.<\/p>\n

\u201cProcessor\u201d means a natural or legal person, public authority, institution or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.<\/p>\n

Relevant legal bases<\/h3>\n

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we will inform you of the legal basis for our data processing. For users from the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. the EU and the EEC, the following applies, unless the legal basis is stated in the data protection declaration: <\/span>

Security measures<\/h3>\n

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with the legal requirements, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs and the type, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing as well as the different probability of occurrence and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk.<\/p>\n

The measures include, in particular, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data by controlling physical access to the data, as well as the access, input, distribution, ensuring availability and its separation. We have also set up procedures to ensure the exercise of the rights of those affected, the deletion of data and the response to threats to data. Furthermore, we take the protection of personal data into account when developing or selecting hardware, software and processes, in accordance with the principle of data protection through technology design and through data protection-friendly default settings.<\/p>\n

Collaboration with processors, joint controllers and third parties<\/h3>\n

If, as part of our processing, we disclose data to other people and companies (processors, joint controllers or third parties), transfer it to them or otherwise grant them access to the data, this only takes place on the basis of legal permission (e.g. if a transfer of the data to third parties, such as payment service providers, is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract), users have consented, a legal obligation requires this or on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. when using agents, web hosts, etc.).<\/p>\n

Cookies and right to object to direct advertising<\/h3>\n

\u201cCookies\u201d are small files that are stored on users\u2019 computers. Different information can be stored within the cookies. Furthermore, we process the data of data subjects in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of the GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interests, e.g. when it concerns administrative tasks or public relations.\nThe data processed here, the type, scope and purpose and necessity of their processing are determined by the underlying contractual relationship. This generally includes inventory and master data of the persons (e.g., name, address, etc.), as well as contact details (e.g., email address, telephone, etc.), contract data (e.g., services used, content communicated, etc.). Google also processes usage data and metadata, which is used by Google for security purposes and service optimization.\nWhen using publicly accessible documents, websites or other content, Google may store cookies on the user's computer for the purposes of web analysis or to remember the user's settings.\nWe use Google Cloud services on Gbased on our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of the GDPR in efficient and secure administrative and collaboration processes. Contact<\/span><\/p>\n

When contacting us (e.g. via contact form, email, telephone or via social media), the user's information is used to process the contact request and process it in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.\nThe IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Online presence in social media<\/h3>\n

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to be able to communicate with customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services.\nWe would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This can result in risks for users because, for example, it could make it more difficult to enforce users' rights. For example, usage profiles can be created from the usage behavior and resulting interests of the users. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the users' computers, in which the usage behavior and interests of the users are stored.
